PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Slurry preparation, board forming and steam curing
This production route combines silica and calcium materials with reinforcing fibers. Slurry is distributed onto a felt and dewatered under vacuum to form the board. Curing and finishing equipment are matched to the required density, thickness and surface quality.

Production flow
Pulp preparation → Forming → Stacking → Steam curing → Edge finishing
Prepare, form, cure and finish
Storage and feeding equipment supply pulping and mixing. After vacuum forming, boards are stacked and demoulded, autoclaved, then dried and finished by sanding, cutting and edge treatment.
Select equipment for the finished board
Applications include ceiling and partition panels. Higher density and tighter tolerances can change the pressing, handling and sanding requirements. Calcium silicate and fiber cement products should be specified separately even when some equipment is shared.
Pressing and forming options
A published configuration describes a 1,600 mm forming roller and a 7,000-tonne hydraulic press. These are configuration-specific equipment sizes, not compulsory components for every plant. The selected press and autoclave arrangement should be stated in the quotation alongside the board specification they are intended to produce.

Prepare a schedule of your intended board grades, dimensions and surface finishes. If several grades are planned, identify which one will account for most sales. Ask for the quotation to distinguish the initial equipment package from optional finishing equipment, and request the acceptance criteria for each finished grade in writing.
